'Imbolc' Unmounted Print

€15.00

This unmounted A4 print is inspired by Imbolc, the ancient festival associated with the pre-Christian goddess Brigid, which later evolved into Saint Brigid’s Day, falling on 1st February. It is a time of rebirth and regrowth, considered to be the coming of Spring, as symbolised through the snowdrops. Brigid was also associated with fire, bonfires and candles often being lit in her honour.

The original artwork for this print was created with a blend of oil pastel, coloured pencil, graphite and ink.
